PROJECT: Annual design of a family of collateral pieces
International Horizons has been a leading provider of English language instructional products for use in the home market in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. TransPacific Digital was responsible for the annual design and all aspects of production and prepress for both the Japanese and Taiwanese versions of the World Family Imprint Audio Annual — a sampling of music and lyrics of top U.S. pop artists, used to instruct teenagers in colloquial English. In addition to providing linguistically correct translation of catch phrases like "this crazy monster's got a hold on me" (what does that mean?), TransPacific Digital provided prepress services and project coordination with the Taiwan office for production of Disney's World of English and other 4-color instructional products.
